What are your most popular teas?

What sizes do your teas come in?

Our standard size is 100g (which is roughly 3.5 ounce). This size comes in a light-blocking, resealable stand-up pouch. We also offer a sample size(20g), a 50g bag size(1.76 ounce) and a 200g size( 7 ounce). Larger sizes are priced at a discount. Ordering 200g(7 ounces) of a single tea saves you ten percent.

I am avoiding caffeine. Which teas do you recommend?

Tea leaves(Camellia Sinensis) contain caffeine naturally. Rooibos, herb, and fruit teas(accurately called 'tisane') are not come from Camellia Sinensis, so these doesn't contain any caffeine. We also recommend low caffeine decaffeinated teas.

How many servings will I get from my tea order?

The number of cups of tea will vary slightly by tea, depending on how strong you like your tea and how much tea is required per cup. Generally, you will get 30 to 40 servings of tea from a 100g (3.5 ounce) bag. Some teas allow for multiple infusions, so you can get many more servings from them.

How long will my tea stay fresh?

Once you open your tea pouch, your tea will stay optimally fresh for up to four months if stored away from heat and moisture in our resealable pouches. If tea is stored properly, some tea will last for at least two years. And some teas(like Japanese sencha) required to be consumed within four months to enjoy the utmost freshness.

What are my payment options?

We currently accept payment via Paypal and credit card(Visa, Master, American Express). We accept credit card payment using Stripe system. We don't accept credit cards other than Visa, Master, and American Express.

What shipping methods do you use?

For all Canadian orders, Canada Post will be base shipper and USPS will be used for your choice. If you are unable to receive Canada Post deliveries, you can contact us through this website. Most of teaware orders from US will be shipped through USPS and UPS. Tea products will be shipped through Canada Post mostly.

I am having trouble tracking/receiving my order. What should I do?

If you are having trouble tracking or receiving your order, we will be happy to contact Canada Post for you. Please e-mail us at zentealife@gmail.com with your order ID# and we will provide you with the status of your order or contact Canada Post (USPS) to resolve any shipping issues.

 What is your exchange policy?

We will do everything possible to insure that your shopping experience with us is a pleasant one. If you are not satisfied with any item, you can return it in its original condition for a PayPal refund. Please email us within 3 days of receipt of order at zentealife@gmail.com with your order number and a description of the reason for the return. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost to send product back to us. Product must be returned unused and postage-paid. Please note that we can only accept returns of unused teaware and cannot accept any returns of tea(food items) for safety reasons. If we made mistake in filling your order, we will reimburse the return shipping expenses. We will refund to your Paypal account as soon as the item is returned to us in resalable condition and in original packaging. In the event we are out of stock on an item you will be notified within 1 business day and eligible for a full refund.

My order was damaged during shipping. What should I do?

We apologize that your order was damaged. While we take great care in packaging our orders, accident sometimes happen. Please contact us within 2 days of receipt of your order. We will gladly process an exchange at no charge to you.

I'm buying this tea as a gift. Can you include a note with my gift? Does the shipment show the price of the items in the gift?

We offer message service. You can write your message on 'leave a message box' during Check Out process, and we'll write your message on a pretty card. Our shipments do not include a receipt, so you do not need to worry about prices being included in your gift shipment.

Can you include gift message my order?

Yes. During checkout, you will be given the option for gift message. Mostly, teapots have option to add gift message.
