The Ru Kiln (Chinese ruyao) was a famous porcelain or ceramic furnace (state kiln, Guanyao in Chinese) in the time of the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1279 AD). It was one of the so-called five famous kilns (Ru Kiln, Jun Kiln, Guan Kiln, Ding Kiln, Ge Kiln) of the Song Dynasty.
A kiln was located in Ruzhou, Henan province, and Ruyao got the name after the production area.
