How to make Masala Chai

There is no end to the diversity of recipes for making your own chai. Brewing chai is fun and allows you to experiment until you get it 'just right' for your personal taste.
Chai is basically black tea brewed with selected spices and milk. Each ingredient adds subtle flavor changes and brewing methods vary widely. In this page, I would like to introduce the recipes of our Masala Chai.
Our Masala Chai is a bit spicy, which has more spices than other company's Masala Chai. So I strongly recommend to mix with frosted(steamed) milk. Without adding milk, our Masala Chai will be too spicy for someone.

Indian traditional way(with pot)
1. Bring 3/5 cup of water to boil.
2. Put 2 heaped teaspoon of Masala Chai and brew for 2 min.(Lower the temperature, so the ingredients of Chai won't come out of the pot by the boling water)
3. Add 3/5 cup of Soy milk(or 2% milk) and brew for 2 min.(Again lower the temperature not to spill over)
4. Strain the Chai. Add sweetner(I like honey). Enjoy!

With steamer
1. Bring 1/2 cup of water to boil.
2. Put 2 heaped teaspoon of Masala Chai and steep for 5 minutes.
3. While steeping the Chai, steam 1/2 of soy milk.
4. Strain Masala Chai and mix with milk. Add sweetner. Enjoy!

Soy milk and regular milk will give you different nuances of flavour. Soy milk will give you slightly toasty and vegetal flavour. You can try with many different ingredients including rice milk, soy milk, homo milk, and skim milk to get the best suitable taste.
The flavour will be diifferent by sweetner. Personally I love honey with Masala Chai. Masala Chai mixed with honey will help you a lot to overcome flu in Winter.
